Here’s how it works: you submit a video of your athlete. You can choose a routine from one or more events, or a specific skill that your athlete is working on. The video can be from a competition or practice.

Then, you’ll get a link to the results: your athlete’s video slowed down with her tips highlighted at the exact time the error is made. It is a wonderful visual tool to help you and your athlete understand how to improve her score.

Video Instructions

Most cell phone cameras video in 24 or 30 fps (frames per second). In order to prevent blurring for the video analysis you will need to manually change that to 60 fps in your camera settings, although 30 fps can be sufficient for lower level compulsory routines because the speed of the movements is not as great. Higher rates such as that used in slow motion may also be advantageous  at the optional level, particularly for vaulting and tumbling due to the speed of the movement.

The feedback quality will be better if the routine is filmed in landscape mode (horizontally), but we understand why some people prefer to film in portrait mode! If you aren't sure if the video quality is good enough, just text it to us and we'll let you know!
